Why Meta Data is so important for your website

When thinking about websites and building them the obvious thoughts that come to mind are that you want it to visually stimulate and engage with your audience and you wouldn't be wrong! However, what if your audience couldn't find your website in the first place?

What if the content on your page doesn’t even register with Google as a relevant website for your audience? This is when and how Meta data plays an important role in SEO, especially when Google relies on it to make the decision as to whether the content on your website is relevant to the search terms from your audience!

With that being said, it has become more important than ever for site owners to write good meta descriptions. Google goes on to explain what it considers to be a good meta description. “Good meta descriptions are short blurbs that describe accurately the content of the page. They are like a pitch that convince the user that the page is exactly what they’re looking for.”
