You’re never too young to start learning the basics of business. From doing chores around the house for pocket money to getting your first Saturday job, we all learn skills and accumulate knowledge without realising it.

By the time we become business professionals, through lessons learned along the way, we will have built up a wide range of skills and experience. But how many times do we look back and think ’I wished I’d known THAT earlier’? Probably too many! So I thought I’d share this article which offers some key advice that if put into practice, could help keep you on track to reach your goals hopefully sooner than you think!

Starting a business -- or even getting involved as a professional -- when you’re young can be intimidating. You might have knowledge about business from school, books or practical advice from sources online, but there’s a big difference between understanding business fundamentals on paper and gaining wisdom through actual experience. By the end of your career, you’ll have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and hundreds of lessons, but there are some lessons that you should learn early on -- ideally before you turn 30.
