It's finally here! The most talked about ad of the year, the John Lewis Christmas advert.
We were wondering what John Lewis may pull out the bag this year in the Lilac office. A challenging task to remain consistently popular and not disappoint a waiting audience.
So how does this year measure up?
It seems John Lewis have moved away from their previous 'sadvertising' theme. This advert is substantially less emotional than last years Man on the Moon (sob). Instead it consists of a cute gang of wildlife, a trampoline and the main star of the show - Buster the Boxer.
John Lewis have also teamed up with Snapchat, integrating the campaign with one of their own Buster filters. A fantastic move from JL, as we all know how popular the standard dog filter is on Snapchat...and yes we have had a go.
The office is torn, whilst some of us adore the lighthearted ad, some are missing the usual tug at the heart strings.
Whether you like it or not, you have to admit Buster the Boxer is pretty damn cute.

It's a dog's life for John Lewis this Christmas as Biff the Boxer has been given newfound celebrity status in the retailer's highly anticipated 2016 Christmas advert. The advert, which has come to be recognised as signalling the start of the festive season, features five-year-old Biff as Buster the dog, enviously watching the neighbourhood's wildlife leap around on the family's brand new trampoline on Christmas Eve.
