Instagram has grown dramatically over the past few years, and is a fantastic promotional tool for businesses!
That being said, with the much talked about new algorithm now in place (despite the enormous backlash) it's more important than ever that you're sharing quality content if you want to get noticed.
Images need to be high quality, engaging and aesthetically pleasing. No blurred, pixelated or over cropped images will do!
Try and stick with a theme, or if you find a particular theme is too restrictive then ensure all of your images are bold and bright. Channel your brand through your Instagram and accurately represent what it is you're all about.
Consistent posting is also key, try and post daily at similar times. Think about when is key to posting, for example, when people are on the commute or on lunch breaks. When will users be most active?
